Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine treatment and mechanism of ulcerative colitis of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a kind of chronic specific inflammatory disease with long course and difficult to heal. Its pathogenic factors and pathophysiological mechanism are still unclear. This paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant research on the treatment of liver depression and spleen deficiency UC in China in recent ten years, summarizes and discusses it from two aspects of TCM treatment methods and TCM treatment mechanism, and puts forward the urgent problems and prospects of TCM treatment of liver depression and spleen deficiency UC.
