Abstract: | Objective To compare the efficacy of sodium hyaluronate combined with fluorometholone eye drops and sodium hyaluronate eye drops in the treatment of dry eye in children. Methods 86 children with dry eye in outpatients from September 2018 to February 2019 in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups. The control group(43 cases)used sodium hyaluronate eye drops, and the observation group(43 cases)used sodium hyaluronate drops combined with fluorometholone eye drops. The symptoms and dry eye indicators,non-invasive tear film rupture time, tear river height, fluorescent staining, meibomian gland analysis, redness and adverse reactions before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results The non-invasive tear film rupture time and tear river height index were higher in the observation group than those in the control group. The fluorescence staining, meibomian gland analysis and redness index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The adverse reactions of the observation group and the control group were similar(P>0.05).Conclusion Sodium hyaluronate eye drops combined with fluorometholone eye drops can achieve good therapeutic results in the treatment of dry eye in children. |
