社区水痘疫苗保护效果1∶1配对病例对照研究

目的:观察水痘疫苗对水痘的保护效果。方法:选择广州市2002~2004年的水痘病例,按性别、年龄、户籍和居住地为每个病例选择1个对照,利用儿童免疫接种管理系统采集相关免疫信息。结果:共有856对病例及对照纳入研究,1剂水痘疫苗对水痘的保护效果为90.0%(95%CI86.3%~92.7%),国产水痘疫苗的保护效果为93.5%(95%CI89.7%~95.9%),进口水痘疫苗的保护效果为89.7%(95%CI72.9%~96.1%)。结论:上市后疫苗效果研究表明1剂水痘疫苗对低年龄儿童水痘有很好的保护效果。

Effectiveness of varicella vaccine:a 1:1 matched case-control study

Objective:To assess the effectiveness of varicella vaccine to prevent varicella.Methods:Cases were children who were suffering varicella in Guangzhou during the year 2002 to 2004.For each case,1 control was selected,matched by gender,age,local or floating residence,residing in the same village or street.Immunization records were obtained from Children EPI Administrative Computerized System.Results:856 pairs were enrolled.For one dose vaccine versus none,the vaccine effectiveness amounted to 90.0% (95%CI 86.3%~92.7%).For domestic-made varicella vaccine,the vaccine effectiveness amounted to 93.5% (95%CI 89.7%~95.9%);For foreign-made varicella vaccine,the vaccine effectiveness amounted to 89.7% (95%CI 72.9%~96.1%).Conclusion:This post licensure study of varicella vaccine effectiveness finds that one dose vaccine versus none to be highly effective in preventing varicella in younger children.
