Survey of the professional attitudes of baccalaureate nursing graduates

Objective To investigate the professional attitudes of baccalaureate nursing graduates so as to provide a theoretical basis for teachers to develop targeted nursing education. Method A total of 117 students who are going to graduate were investigated with Nursing Self Concept Scale. Results The total score of professional attitude was （ 84.17 ± 8.64） and the overall level was positive. The dimension scores of leadership, skills, flexibility and communication were above 2.5 and the dimension score of satisfaction was 2.48. In the 30 items of questionnaire, the identity rate of ＂resolving nursing problems through flexibiiity＂ was the highest （58.12%） ,and the identity rate of ＂the current situation in accordance with my expectations＂ was the lowest （2.56%）. Conclusion The professional attitude of nursing graduates is well but their degree of satisfaction to nursing work is low. We should pay more attention to train nursing students＇professional attitude in future work.
