基质金属蛋白酶抑制剂研究进展

摘    要:基质金属蛋白酶(MMP)是一族含Zn2+的蛋白水解酶,参与细胞外基质的降解与组织重塑。MMP的过度表达与多种病理过程如癌症、骨关节炎、类风湿性关节炎等密切相关,因此MMP的抑制剂可用于这些疾病的治疗。本文对近年来报道的小分子MMP抑制剂和它们的药理学特性进行综述。

Abstract:Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of Zn2+-containing enzymes involved in the degradation of extracellular matrix and tissue remodeling. The over-expression of MMPs has been implicated in the pathogenesis of a variety of diseases such as cancers, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Thus, MMP inhibitors have been expected to be useful for the treatment with these disorders. This article reviews on the small molecular weight MMP inhibitors and their pharmacological properties published recently.
