摘    要:目的:研究迷走神经刺激(VNS)对海马星形胶质细胞和神经元的影响,阐明海马在迷走神经抑制癫痫中的作用. 方法:利用免疫组织化学法,观察VNS前后,海马胶原纤维酸性蛋白(GFAP)和Fos蛋白的表达变化.结果:VNS治疗后,海马Fos、GFAP和Fos/GFAP双标细胞数,明显低于癫痫组.结论:VNS可能通过抑制海马星形胶质细胞Fos蛋白表达发挥抑制癫痫作用.

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the quantitative and morphological changes of astroeytes and neurons in hippoeampus after vagus nerve stimulation(VNS). Methods: Immunohistochemical technique was used to observe Fos and glial fibrillary acidic portein (GFAP) immunoreactive cells and the double-labled cells in hippocampus after VNS. Results: Fos and GFAP immunoreaetive cells and Fos/GFAP double-labled ceils were significantly decreased in hippocampus after VNS. Conclusion: The results from above suggested that the decreased expression of c-Fos gene in astrocyte after VNS may play a role in antiepilepsy effect.
