日本古代流传下来的传说认为，地下隐匿着一条巨大的鲶鱼，它被鹿岛大神或惠比须神的宝葫芦镇在海底。一旦脱离了神力的束缚，它就会剧烈地翻滚起来，震动大地，引发地震。 2011年3月11日下午14点46分，传说中的这条鲶鱼露出狰狞，一场里氏9级的大地震瞬间突袭了日本东北部近海，并很快引发海啸，离震源较近的宫城县、岩手县、福岛县和仙台市成为重灾区。

Earthquake Crisis in Japan

March 11th, 2011, Japan was hit by a 9 grade earthquake, which triggered a tsunami and nuclear leak. Up to March 23rd, more than 9000 people were killed and more than 10000 people have not been found yet. More than 70 countries have sent rescue teams to help Japan to overcome this big crisis. Healthcare system and hospitals in Japan have been damaged, and the nuclear crisis has brought a lot of pressure and panic not only to the Japanese, but also the whole world.
