Analysis and optimisation of the behaviour of a certain class of intermediates in electrosynthesis

Abstract:The behaviour of an electrochemically generated Cypridina luciferin analogue system in non-flow, tank-flow, and piston-flow cells is analysed via simplified substance balance models. The existence of optimal species-capture conditions is demonstrated to be a function of (mean) residence times in the cells.
