摘    要:骨缺损是膝关节翻修手术的常见问题,尽管处理的方法有很多,包括骨水泥填充、骨移植、常规填充块以及铰链膝关节等,但对于外科医生来说依然是挑战。本文报道一例严重膝关节骨缺损病例,基于患者CT数据进行3D打印进而获得个体化化填充垫块完成翻修手术。使用快速成型技术制造定制化模块处理膝关节骨缺损是一种新颖而有效的方法。

Application of Customized Augments Fabricated By Rapid Prototyping on Severe Bone Defect of Knee

Abstract:Bone defects are commonly encountered during revision knee arthroplasty. They represent a serious challenge for orthopedic surgeons and can interfere with successful revision. Various traditional methods are available to address these defects, including cement, bone grafting, standard bone grafts, and hinge implants. We present a novel method based on a rapid prototyping technique to treat patients with a severe bone defect. Patient-specific implants were designed based on computed tomography data and then fabricated by electron beam melting, a rapid prototyping technique. Devices made of titanium alloy have unique shapes to fit the bone defect and a porous structure that makes restoration of the bone feasible during the revision. This novel method can facilitate preoperative planning and the intraoperative process. It offers a reasonable option in the case of a severe bone defect.
