Abstract: | Summary Both the mouse and the human teratocarcinoma model systems have contributed to knowledge of differentiation and oncodevelopmental markers. Of particular interest are antigens detected on human teratocarcinomas with alloantisera and biochemical analyses of human germ cells in various stage of maturation. Both methods offer promise of new tumor markers for testicular germ-cell cancer and perhaps of targets for contraceptive vaccines. |
