| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the relationship between the levels of serum Fractalkine,C-reactive protein（CRP）and the intima-media thicknes（IMT）of carotid artery in the patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods The levels of serum Fractalkine,C-reactive protein and carotid artery intima-media thickness were determined in 112 patients with type 2 diabetes and 40 healthy controls.Results The levels of serum Fractalkine,CRP and carotid artery intima-media thickness in patients with type 2 diabetic（P0.01）,and higher than that of normal controls（P0.01）;The levels of serum Fractalkine and CRP showed positive correlation（r=0.495,P0.01）.The multiple regression analysis with IMT as the dependent variable showed that the regression coefficients of levels of serum CRP,Fractalkine were 0.311 and 0.287,respectively（P0.05）.Conclusion Fractalkine,CRP and IMT increased significantly in the patients with type 2 diabetes.It seems to be a certain value in the detection of serum Fractalkine and intervention in early patients with subclinical diabetic macrovascular disease. |
