| Abstract: | OBJECTIVE To explore the occurrence and development characteristics of adverse drug reaction(ADR)induced by eltrombopag and provide reference for clinical drug use. METHODS Case reports of adverse reactions induced by eltrombopag were retrieved from the databases of CNKI,VIP,WanFang,PubMed and Web of Science. RESULTS A total of 18 cases were reported in 15 articles,including 7 males(38.89%)and 11 females(61.11%).Patients aged over 50 years showed the highest incidence(n=13,72.22%).ADRs induced by eltrombopag frequently occurred within 90 days after dosing(n=15,83.33%).Circulatory system(n=7,38.89%)and skin system(n=6,33.33%)were predominantly involved.All patients resolved after drug withdrawal or dose-reduction and/or symptomatic treatment.CONCLUSION Physicians should be aware of ADRs induced by eltrombopag and strengthen patient education to avoid the occurrence of serious ADR and ensure the safety of drug use. |
