Abstract: | A new technique for pancreaticojejunostomy after pancreaticoduodenectomy, Nagakawa's modified pancreatic invagination with a double intestinal segment, is described: in this method a double intestinal segment is prepared by an automatic instrument and the stump of the pancreas is invaginated into it. Suture of the stump of the pancreas and the jejunum is performed using a technique previously developed by the author. It is hoped that this technique will be widely applicable in pancreatic surgery. |
