Clinical analysis on mechanical ventilation therapy for 120 cases of critically ill

Objective To investigate clinical effects of mechanical ventilation therapy for 120cases of critically ill. Methods From January 2009 to January 2011, 120 critically ill patients in our hospital admitted to the treatment of mechanical ventilation, PH, PaCO2, PaO2 and other indicators of changes in arterial blood gas were observed before and after the value on the machine, the data was also recorded for statistical analysis. Results 120 patients were successfully rescued, mechanical ventilation significantly improved after the PH, PaCO2 decreased, PaO2 significantly increased, the difference was significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Mechanical ventilation as a treatment for acute critically ill patients in the emergency treatment method is safe, and efficient and requires grasping indication, adjusting the appropriate parameters and ventilation mode, early extubation as soon as possible to ensure the success of salvage therapy.
