The author introduces the research progress of detection and drug resistence of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA).The correlative literatures of MRSA in recent years are collected,analyzed,summarized and reviewed.The drug resistance mechanism,feature,test methods,protective and therapeutic measures of MRSA are summarized.MRSA is the most common pathogen in nosocomial infection.Because its rapid propagation speed,wide prevalence range,infection rate takes on ascend trend and it usually causes the infection prevalence and outbreak,therefore the prevention and drug resistance mechanism of MRSA have always been pay attention as a question of clinical common concern.
