On English Reading Comprehension and Listenning Comprehension

The present paper probes into the relationship between reading comprehension and listening comprehension.Reading comprehension and listening comprehension are two important skills English sutdy.A learner's linquistic knowledge such as phonetics,lexicology,grammar,theory of writing,etc as well as his reasoning,foreseeing,background knowledge plays an important part in both reading comprehension and listening comprehension.These two skills condition each other and help each other forward.Their close relatioship has been tested and verified in College English Test,Band 4 and Band 6 over the years.;
