| Abstract: | Human epidermal cells were cultured to form confluent one cell layer sheets and used as allografts applied onto bum wounds and donor sites of medium thickness skin autografts in 41 cases (46 occasions ). The grafted area was 75-825 cm2 at one time. The survival rate of the allografts was 86% on the donor sites and 61.2% on the tangentially excised eschar wounds . The healing time in both cases was much shorter than that of the control group . |
