Abstract: | A patient developed both ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis, each of which responded to D-penicillamine or gold sodium thiomalate and indomethacin, respectively. The patient was both HLA-B27 and -DR4 positive. In addition, he was found to have Paget's disease of bone, which has required no treatment. |
