| Abstract: | PurposeUse of biosutures in animal models of colonic anastomoses is associated with decreased adhesions without affecting anastomotic strength. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of biosutures on colonic anastomoses kept free of adhesions by peritoneal instillation of icodextrin 4%. |
