| 摘 要： | 当前视觉科学研究领域及眼科临床存在的主要难题包括青光眼、视网膜黄斑疾病等的视功能保护和有效治疗以及缺乏适当的移植组织材料治疗眼底疾病等。而随着干细胞和组织工程学研究的推广,越来越多的研究人员已经认识到干细胞作为一种细胞供体用于治疗视网膜疾病的潜能。本文就该研究领域现况及前景作一简要综述。

| Abstract: | The current study in stem cells and ocular tissue engineering makes it promising to effectively solve the intractable problems in the clinic and the visual science field. Those problems include the loss of sight in the patients with late stage glaucoma or macula retinal diseases, the shortage of appropriate biocompatible trans- planted tissues in treating ocular fundus diseases. Now, researchers have already realized the potential of stem cells as the cell donor in treating the retinal disease. In this review, we will explore several studies in which stem cells from neural, non-neural and even embryonic cells have been used as potential sources to treat retinal disease. |
