| Abstract: | The recovery rate as an indicator of recovery from idiopathic sudden hearing loss was used.Using the recovery rate,data from 64 cases of sudden hearing loss by means of multiple regression analysis were examined.The probability of recovery from idiopathic sudden hearing loss depends on many factors.The recovery rate correlates to the difference between the initial and final PTA, degree of initial hearing loss,sex,presence or absence of vertigo, time of visit after onset and type of audiogram. |
