| Abstract: | Suprapubic catheterization is a common procedure in continence surgery and hematuria is a common complication after suprapubic catheterization. The authors report an unusual case of acute clot retention after the removal of a Cystofix suprapubic catheter in a patient who had had a Burch colposuspension. Suprapublic cystotomy as an alternate suprapublic method is also discussed. |
