药典所载连钱草命名质疑

“连钱草”一名最初出现于《新修本草（唐本草）》，是积雪草（今之伞形科天胡荽属，积雪草属多种植物）的异名。大多数古代本草著作和许多现代文献均不称活血丹为“连钱草”。将活血丹称为“连钱草”，源于近代日本学者小野兰山的考证错误，现代学者已纠正其错误。在药材中，以“连钱草”为异名者颇多，以“连钱草”为药材正名极易引起混乱。鉴于以上原因，１９９５年版《中国药典》将活血丹以“连钱草”药材正名收载是不妥的，拟以“江苏金钱草”为宜

A Query about the Naming of Herba Glechomae in Chinese Pharmacopeia

Lian qian cao (Herba Glechoma) initially appeared in Tang (Dynasty) Materia Medica as another name for Ji xue cao (Herba Centella). Over a period in the past, Huo xue dan (Glechoma longituba K.) had been erroneously identified as Lian qian cao by Ono, a Japanese scholar. In addition, no less than 8 species of herbal medicine also being nicknamed as Lian qian cao simply because it possessed similar morphological characteristics with them. All these involvement included the name of Lian qian cao and caused certain confusion in the field of medicinal material. Hence, this author would like to point out especially that it is erroneous to formally name Glechoma longituba as Herba Glechoma in the Chinese Pharmacopeia (ed. 1995), and suggest that the former should be named as Jiangsu Jin qian cao.
