| Abstract: | Objective To observe the clinical effect of decompression by microendoscopic disectomy（MED） versus posterior approach open operation in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis.Methods 48 patients from 2004 to 2010 with lumbar spinal stenosis were randomized into two groups.24 patients in group A underwent MED while 24 patients in group B received open operation.Results Therapeutic effect was evaluated by Nakai standard.There was no significant difference between the two groups（P0.05）.Conclusion Decompression by microendoscopic disectomy through posterior approach in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis is characterized by less severe trauma,less blood loss,and satisfactory clinical effects. |
