Cells expressing death receptors are able to be triggered by corresponding ligands to undergo apoptosis. Consequently death receptors have been found to be involved in lots of life events physiologically or pathologically. Death receptors play contradictory roles in many kinds of virus infections. This paper summarizes the latest data on relationship between the death receptors and virus infections, such as hepatitis virus, HTV, and CMV.
