Analysis of adverse reactions caused by traditional Chinese medicine injection in the elderly

Objective To investigate the adverse reactions caused by traditional Chinese medicine injection(CMI)in the elderly and provide references for clinical rational use of drugs.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 69 patients who were treated with CMI and had adverse reactions.Analyze the relevant data of the enrolled patients'medication,the time of occurrence of adverse reactions,and the clinical manifestations of adverse reactions,summarize the characteristics of adverse reactions,and propose reasonable medication recommendations.Results The occurrence of adverse reactions to CMI in elderly patients was independent of gender,and the time of adverse reactions was less than 24 h.The types of CMI involved in adverse reactions include mainly Qingkailing injection,followed by Shuanghuanglian injection.The least were Tanreqing injection and Danshen injection.Adverse reactions were mainly manifested in the skin and accessories of patients and the injection site of patients.It may also affect the digestive system,circulatory system,respiratory system and exercise system.Conclusions The incidence of adverse reactions of CMI is higher in elderly patients.When CMI is used clinically,risk prevention awareness should be strengthened,and the physiological characteristics of the elderly should be fully considered.According to the basic idea of dialectical treatment,drugs should be selected reasonably.
