| Abstract: | Summary The angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, captopril, enalapril and perindopril, exert antiarrhythmic effects on early post-infarction arrhythmias in anaesthetized rats. These studies support the hypothesis that converting enzyme inhibitors could have a  cardioprotective effect, but the doses used are probably high in relation to those therapeutically applicable to man. |
