| Abstract: | We had the aim of analyzing the introduction and the practices developed by nurses in Health department of Campinas County in the period of 1978 and 1989. Among the practices developed by nurses we highlighted the supervision as instrument of evaluation/training and supervising/control of work; the training of aides for public health; the appointment and the nursing practices; the house calls; the ruling and developing of nursing technical procedures and the nursing registers. We reached the conclusion that there were transformations in the nursing working process, and a giant step took by them was very important for the establishment of the Public Health Network, the reorganization of model geared to health. |
