Abstract: | Personality disorders differ in prevalence by gender. The most striking findings concern antisocial personality disorder,
which is more common in men, and borderline personality disorder, which is more common in women. These differences are not
artifacts, but reflect gender differences in the personality traits that underlie Axis II diagnoses. |
