HIV感染无症状期的病机不离＂虚＂＂郁＂二字,虚者,多为脾胃之气不足也;郁者,气机不畅也。而郁总不离气、血、湿、痰、食、火六因,气、血、火多由肝生,而食、痰、湿多由脾成。此期治疗当从肝脾二脏入手,疏肝健脾、调畅气血,如此才能化被动为主动,及早控制病情恶化,扭转病情局势,进而达到治愈的目的。

Treatment from Liver and Spleen Theory for HIV-infected Patients in Asymptomatic Period

The pathology of HIV asymptomatic period is ＂weakness＂ and ＂stasis＂. Weakness＂ is mostly because of deficiency of acquired Qi and ＂stasis＂ is caused by retardant of Qi movement. ＂Stasis＂ always can＇t leave six reasons-Qi,blood,damp,sputum,food and fire. Qi,blood and fire are mostly generated from liver and food,and damp,sputum are mostly generated from spleen. So,we think the treatment of HIV asymptomatic period should be from liver and spleen,which can soothe liver and strengthen spleen and regulate Qi activity,so that passive can be changed into active. The state of illness can be controlled and reversed as early as possible in order to achieve the purpose of healing.
