| Abstract: | Pneumonectasis was induced by means of aerosol inhalation in guinea-pig, the experiment was based upon a theory, it expounded that pneumonectasis results mainly from disequilibrium of pulmonary elastic protease and its inhibitor. Simultaneously, 8 sorts of chinese herbal medicine were effectively chosen and prepared the hydrated preparation of Xuan Fei Qing. The study on prevention and cure of pneumonectasis in guinea-pig was carried out with Xuan Fei Qing by the same method. The results demonstrate that Xuan Fei Qing owns remarkable effect on prophylaxis and treatment of the pulmonary disease and can confirm further the theory mentioned above. Moreover, the establishment of pneumonectasis model plays an important role in researching its pathogenesis and prevention and cure. |
