| Abstract: | Three tests, footpad thickness, footpad weight and footpad dye accumulation have been compared for measuring the local inflammatory reaction developed in the hind footpads of the mouse after injection of increasing doses of heat killed Candida albicans yeasts. The 3 tests showed high correlation indicating that any one of them may be used to evaluate such inflammatory reactions. |
