| Abstract: | ABSTRACT This paper presents a review of the literature concerning vision as it relates to the operation of visual display units (VDUs). The factors leading to asthenopic complaints amongst VDU operators are assessed and the risk of permanent injury discussed. Recommendations are made on the examination of the eye and vision of VDU operators. |
