| Abstract: | A case of rare plasmacytoid transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder in a 60-year old man is described. The presence of end-stage disease did not allow for any efficacious therapy. Immunohistochemistry showed the tumor cells to be reactive for epithelial markers and syndecan-1 (CD138). |
