Construction and application of quality evaluation criteria for hospice care in cancer patients

Objective: To establish the evaluation standard of nursing quality of hospice care, to explore its rationality and operability, and to provide basis and testing tools for the objective evaluation of nursing quality of hospice care.Methods: Using the method of theoretical research and clinical investigation, the quality standard of nursing was initially formulated. Delphi expert consultation method was used to carry out two rounds of questionnaire consultation for 20 experts, and the weight of each index was quantitatively analyzed. The evaluation index was applied in clinic, and the improvement of nursing quality before and after using the index was compared.Results:The nursing quality standard includes four grade I indexes and 27 grade II indexes. The quality of hospice care of cancer patients was evaluated in clinic. The quality of hospice care and the satisfaction of patients and their families were significantly improved (P < 0.05).Conclusion: The results of the study have high credibility. It provides an objective and quantifiable basis for the evaluation of the quality of hospice nursing. It is worthy of clinical application.
