Clinical Study on Kangfuyan Capsules Combined with Baofukang Suppository forChronic Cervicitis of Dampness-Heat Pouring Downward Type

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Kangfuyan capsules combined with Baofukang suppository for chronic cervicitis of dampness-heat pouring downward type. Methods:A total of 158 cases of patients with chronic cervicitis of dampness-heat pouring downward type were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method,79 cases in each group. Both groups were continuously treated for two months. During treatment,adverse reactions were observed. The content of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),and interleukin-10(IL-10) in serum was compared between the two groups before treatment and after treatment. The curative effect was evaluated. The negative rate of high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV)infection was counted. The recurrence rate of cervicitis during the first six months after treatment were counted. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 94.94% in the study group, higher than that of 83.54% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). The content of TNF-α,IL-1 and IL-6 in serum in the two groups was decreased when compared with that before treatment,and the content of IL-10 in serum was increased(P<0.05). The content of TNF-α,IL-1 and IL-6 in serum in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the content of IL-10 in serum in the study group was higher;differences were significant(P<0.05). During the first three days after treatment, the negative rate of HPV was88.24% in the study group,higher than that of 64.52% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). During the first six months after treatment,the recurrence rate was 8.00% in the study group,and 21.21% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion:In the treatment of chronic cervicitis of dampness-heat pouring downward type, the therapy of Kangfuyan capsules combined with Baofukang suppository can effectively relieve inflammatory response and clinical symptoms,and promote the elimination of high-risk HPV.
