Abstract: | The jejunogastric intussusception is a rare complication of gastric surgery. An acute and a chronic form of intussusception can be distinguished. Three anatomical types of jejunogastric invagination have been classified. Endoscopy is the diagnostic procedure of choice, early operative desinvagination the therapy of choice. The effectiveness of different operative procedures to prevent reinvagination is contested. |
