In implant-supported removable dentures attrition of polymer teeth and a reduction of the vertical dimension as well as wear of attachments and subsequent loss of retention may be observed. The reactivation of worn male components of Vario-Soft 3 attachments of an individually milled square bar by means of newly cast retention elements and the manufacture of a hybrid denture are presented by a case example.
