妊娠期牙周非手术治疗对龈沟液前列腺素E_2水平的影响

目的 :探讨牙周治疗对妊娠期牙周临床指数及龈沟液前列腺素E2 的影响。方法 :以 15名全身健康的妊娠 3月内的患者为研究对象 ,分别于妊娠前 3月、中 3月和后 3月测量牙龈指数、菌斑指数和探诊深度 ,用放射免疫法测龈沟液前列腺素E2 水平。同时对患者行口腔卫生教育、龈上洁治及根面平整治疗。结果 :牙周治疗明显改善了各项牙周临床指数 ,龈沟液前列腺素E2 水平在妊娠中 3月和后 3月明显降低 (P <0 .0 1)。龈沟液前列腺素E2 浓度与各临床指数间的相关性并不显著 (P >0 .0 5 )。结论 :龈沟液前列腺素E2 水平可作为妊娠期牙周治疗效果的指征。牙周治疗如能贯穿整个妊娠期间 ,则能有效控制妊娠期龈炎

Effects of Non-surgical Periodontal Therapy on Gingival Crevicular Fluid Prostaglandin E2 in Pregnancy

Objective: To investigate the effects of periodontal therapy on clinical indices and gingival crevicular prostaglandin E 2(GCF PGE 2) in pregnant women. Methods: 15 systemicallly healthy pregnant women were recruited for the study. Their clinical indices including plaque index, gingival index, probing depth were tested in the first three month, the second three month and the third three month of pregnancy. The contents of GCF PGE 2 were determined by using radioimmunological methods. Periodontal treatment consisting of oral hygine instruction, supragingival scaling, subgingival scaling or root planing were performed at each phase. Results: Periodontal treatment could improve clinical indices in the study(P<0.05). There were significant decreases in levels of GCF PGE 2 at the second and the third month of pregnancy (P< 0.01 ). Non significant correlation was found between GCF PGE 2 and clinical indices(P>0.05). Conclusion: The concentration of GCF PGE 2 may be used as a marker of gingival inflamation to determine the effects of periodontal treatment in pregnant women. Periodontal therapy performed throughout the entire pregnancy period may help prevent the threat of pregnancy gigivitis.
