| Abstract: | Using the method of Xanthine Oxidase,we measured the activity of Superoxide Dismutase(SOD)in 30 patients with head injury. The results indicate that the activity of SOD is lower in these patients,and the more serious a patient's condition,the lower the SOD activity.The activity of SOD in the group of eventual death is lower than that in the group of survivors. It is suggested that the activity of SOD is correlated with the injury condition and prognosis. |
