深圳市嫖客艾滋病知识的调查

目的调查嫖客对艾滋病的认知,评价艾滋病的感染风险.方法对深圳市1998年7月～1999年3月收容的165名嫖客进行问卷调查.结果 (1)93.3%的嫖客听说过艾滋病,43.6%的人认为艾滋病也是一种性病.(2)半数能正确回答艾滋病的传播途径,1/3的人认识到艾滋病和性病、妓女的密切关系.(3)对艾滋病病毒感染者的早期症状认识率很低(15.2%和7.3%),(4)对自己感染艾滋病的风险认识不足,仅3人认为自己有较高的感染风险.(5)78%的人愿意从电视上获得艾滋病的有关知识,18.8%的人愿意从医生那里得到权威的介绍.结论该市嫖客艾滋病知识贫乏,自我保护意识较低,对自己的感染风险认识不足,有必要加强这类高危险人群的艾滋病健康教育.

A survey on AIDS knowledge in male sex consumers in Shenzhen

Objective: To assess male sex consumers' AIDS related knowledge and to assess AIDS infection risks. Methods: A cross- sectional study was conducted in 165 male sex consumers in Shenzhen between July 1998 and March 1999. Results: (1)93.3% of the subjects heard of AIDS and 43.6% of them thought AIDS as one kind of sex transmitted disease. (2)Half of the subjects could give right answer on the spread route and 1/3 of them considered it to be related to STDs and prostitutions. (3)Majority of the subjects were unaware ol the early clinical manifestations of AIDS(only 15.2% and only 7.3% ). (4)Only 3 subjects acknowledged a higher risk for AIDS and the rest of the subjects were unaware of their risks. (5)78% of the subjects preferred to learn AIDS related knowledge from popular TV programs and 18.8% of them would rather seek such information from clinical authorities. Conclusion: For lack of AIDS related knowledge, the male sex consumers as a special population group were in a slate of lower self - protection from AIDS infection and were ignorant of potential AIDS infections. It is necessary to strengthen AIDS related education targeted to this high risk population group.
