| Abstract: | A novel antifungal antibiotic, haliangicin, was isolated from a culture broth of marine myxobacterium, Haliangium luteum. The planar structure of haliangicin was elucidated by spectroscopic analyses and was shown to be a new polyunsaturated compound containing beta-methoxyacrylate moiety. |
