| Abstract: | ObjectiveTo investigate the protective effects of corilagin on oxidative damage of HUVEC caused by ox-LDL and its anti-mechanism. MethodsMTT assay was used to determine protection against HUVEC injury.Expression of LOX-1 mRNA was determined by RT-PCR. ResultsCorilagin reduced the direct cytotoxicity of ox-LDL on HUVEC and expression of LOX-1 mRNA induced by ox-LDL. ConclusionCorilagin had protective effects on HUVEC,and one of its probable mechanism was reducing expression of LOX-1 mRNA. |
