Abstract: | Factors which influence survival in patients with colorectal cancers were analyzed. From the anatomical and clinical points of view, large bowel cancer should be evaluated separately as colon and rectal cancer. The factors were stages of the disease, depth of tumor infiltration, morphological type of tumor appearance, histological type of tumor, venous invasion of cancer cell, lymphatic invasion of cancer cells, lymphnode metastasis, degree of tumor resection, distant metastasis and dissemination in abdominal cavity. |
