| Abstract: | In this paper, the contributions on dietotherapy of Compendium of Materia Medica written by Li Shizhen were discussed as following: Selecting medicated diet extensively and abundantly; Treating diseases and building up health by dietotherapy on the basis of different diagnosis; Emphasis on the combined use of medical wine and gruel in dietotherapy and health preservation. |
