Abstract: | We report two brothers with renal and hepatic polycystic disease who developed end-stage renal failure, requiring hemodialysis, and organomegaly syndrome related to the gigantic size of the liver and both kidneys. Although there was no liver failure, combined liver and kidney transplantation was performed owing to worsening of the clinical condition. In both cases, successful transplantation was accomplished with intra-abdominal engraftment of the liver and kidneys through the same abdominal incision. |
