Abstract: | The in vitro model of isovolumic beating heart revealed enhanced sensitivity of the hearts from rats survived severe brain injury to concentration of Ca2+, Na+, and H+ ions in the perfusion solution. Inhibition of myocardial contractile function after trauma was accompanied by destruction signs in cardiomyocyte sarcolemma and mitochondrial dysfunction. __________ Translated from Byulleten’ Eksperimental’noi Biologii i Meditsiny, Vol. 141, No. 6, pp. 639–642, June, 2006 |
