Survey on Salmonella Infection in Workers of Catering TradeAnd Diarrhea Cases in Huizhou

Objective To understand the carrying situation and characteristics of Salmonella in workers of catering trade and diarrhea cases in Huizhou, and detect carriers and provide treatment and management in time, and provide guidance for salmonellosis prevention and control. Method Anus swabs were collected and Salmonella were isolated by conventional methods, and serum agglutination test was used for identification and classification. Result The infection rate of Salmonella workers of catering trade and diarrhea cases in Huizhou was 2.47 %o, being 0.22% in workers of catering trade and 4.42% in diarrhea cases. The serotypes of Salmonella infected in workers of catering trade and diarrhea cases in Huizhou were relatively single, mainly based on Salmonella typhimurium and Salmonella enteritidis. The carrier rate was relatively high in summer. Conclusion Salmonellosis has been increasing to be a threat to human health, therefore, surveillance and prevention efforts to salmonella disease can not be ignored.
