摘    要:观察正常豚鼠耳蜗螺旋神经节钙调素的分布,因为作为真核细胞中最重要的Ca^2+受体--钙调素在听觉径路上的分布和功能尚未见报道。

Abstract:Objective: Distribution of calmodulin (CaM) in the spiral ganglion (SG) of normal guinea pig cochlea was observed. CaM is the most important Ca 2+ receptor of eukaryotic cells, but little is known about its distribution and function in the auditory passage. Methods: White healthy guinea pigs were divided into the experimental and control groups. After losing the calcium, the cochlea was covered up by paraffin wax and cut into slices. The distribution of CaM in the SG was investigated with a sensitive ABC immunostaining method. Results: There were CaM immunoreaction (CaM IR) in SG cells (SGC) of normal guinea pigs from apical to basal turns. But the positive reaction was different from cells to cells, which were lightly or heavily stained, and in which, cytoplasm or/and nuclei were positive. Conclusion: These results may suggests that CaM occurs in abundance in SGC of guinea pig, those differences may result from different functional status of SGC. CaM may take part in the auditory transmission, which is achieved by the axplasmic transport, the synthesis and release neurotransmitter.
