The retalionship of the subjective well-being with, self-concordance and personality in medical graduates

Objective：To investigate the association of subjective well-being with self-concordance and personality of the medical graduates.Methods：A total of 332 medical graduates were surveyed by General Well-Being Schedule,Self Consistency and Congruence Scale,and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire.Results：The scores of the average general well-being turned out to be 79.76 ±12.76 and self-consistency 89.56±13.41;differences existed in students of different genders and different grades（P0.05 to P0.01）;no distinct differences were observed in personality types（P0.05）.Self-stereotypy,lack of self-experiences,psychoticism and nervosity were negatively related to the general well-being（P0.01）,while self-flexibility and extroverted personality were positively related to the general well-being（P0.01）.Conclusions：Self-flexibility and stable personality trait are important factors affecting the general well-being of the medical graduates.
